Support Staff

Jill (Client Service Representative)

JillJill was born in Bedford, England. She grew up in Martinez and ended up in the veterinary field quite by accident. A friend told her that she was hiring a part-time receptionist in a veterinary hospital and many, many years later she is still going strong! She truly believes that people with pets are compassionate and caring people and she enjoys working with them.

Jill has an Australian Shepherd "Bracken" that she got from a breeder in Grass Valley, a Border Collie "Tillie", plus 6 Quarter horses. Two of her horses are cutting horses, one a young horse (his mother is a retired cutting horse), and the other is her quarter horse mare, which she rides every weekend.

She and Don take their horses and dogs camping and they all enjoy the great outdoors.

Carol (Owner, Client Service Representative)

CarolCarol was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Colorado when she was 8 years old. Her parents owned a country store/post office/gas station/rental cabins in rural Colorado. Carol had an opportunity to fulfill her love of animals through rescuing horses, sheep, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, raccoons, skunks, and even a porcupine.

Carol and Dr. Beebee were married in his first year of veterinary school. They have three grown boys living in Central and Southern California. Their dog “Kate” and their cat “Flower” are both rescued pets. In her spare time, Carol enjoys reading, photography, and hiking with “Kate".

Beth (Client Service Representative)
BethBeth was an Indiana girl until she drove out to California on a lark and met her future husband.  They raised their two beautiful daughters in Alameda, and it was there that Beth found her niche in the veterinary field.  Her 29 years working first as a veterinary assistant and then as a receptionist have provided her a perfect blend of meeting the needs of people as well as their companion animals.  She is very excited about the opportunity to be part of the Diablo View Veterinary team!

In her spare time Beth loves to visit her two precious grandchildren. In the evenings she does her best to knit or read around her two roly-poly cats on her lap (Dewey and Sleepy). And that is no easy task!

Ann (Staff Development Coordinator)

AnnAnn joined Diablo View Veterinary Hospital in December, 2007. Ann is a flautist who has been performing and teaching private flute lessons for the past 27+ years. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ann and her husband John love traveling, spontaneous day trips, and being outdoors with their six children and two dogs, “Buster” an adorable Pug, and “Max” a heart-melting Golden Retriever. They are both so much fun to be with and give an abundance of unconditional love! Ann grew up in Singapore and has always had pugs as part of her family, clawing at her and looking adorable and pathetic at the same time. She even saw her pug “Twinkle” give birth to a litter of seven, all named after the seven dwarfs. Ann immigrated to the United States when she was 12 years old, and spent her teen years living in Orinda, CA, where she also had a pug “Bambi”. Pugs hold a very soft place in her heart…they are just so cute!

Ann is excited and feels blessed to be working with the dedicated staff at Diablo View Veterinary Hospital.

Linda recently received the CVMA “Registered Veterinary Technician of the Year” Award. She feels she has the best of both worlds, great clients and wonderful pets! She has worked at Diablo View Veterinary Hospital since June 1991.

She is a Bay Area native who enjoys spending time with her daughter, Leah, as well as gardening, genealogy, and hiking with her dog, Kenai. Linda has always had dogs and cats growing up. Her most special pet was a yellow Lab “Larry”. He was her co-teacher when she was training technicians. Currently, she has 2 pets: "Kenai", a loving but independent female Black Labrador purchased from Gingerbread Farms in Sonoma, and "Spotty", a Domestic Short Hair kitty who adopted her at 4 months of age! Spotty is shaped like a football and loves to talk!

Liese (Veterinary Assistant)

Liese Liese grew up in San Francisco and moved with her family to Concord when she was in high school. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to work with animals. Liese has been a veterinary assistant for many years, and is still as passionate about animals as ever.  She has worked for Diablo View since April, 2007.

She and her husband like to spend time in nature: walking, hiking, visiting the coast and taking trips to different parts of California. They are “owned” by 4 cats, all boys! They are all part feral, including one that she bottle fed. They all get along for the most part and actually love each other. They are all quite shy though, and hide when visitors come over.
